call me wolfbrother and let me welcome you to my blog, and let me thank all the other bloggers who (inadvertently or intentionally, especially "the things i do for win") led me to make my own blog, predominantly to ask about tournament play, advice on martell decks (non-maester/non-control) i am going to gencon, third time there, first time with this game. i played WoW tcg until about last year, got tired of hemorrhaging money to card hunt. i read the series and when a fellow tcg player recommended this game i knew instantly who would be in my deck, the red viper. my current deck is attachment heavy, ill get a list up in a later entry. anyway i have annoying first time player questions (not too many rules questions, most of those handled by Fantast flight forums) these ones pertain to tournament play for gen con, do i have to qualify in anything to play at gencon? where is the nearest regionals/local play/ organized play or where do i find this information? any and all help greatly appreciated, thank you in advance and ill get that deck list up, i dont particularly wanna walk into gencon as my first competetive format without proper intel and prep.
