Tully Defense Deck (aGoT LCG)

TullyDefense Stark
this is my Tully defense deck. basically the concept is to win with no, or minimal attacking. basically Dominance, The Minstrel's Muse (RotO) and Riverrun (LoW) are your best friends. also with a little added flavor with Den of the Wolf (ACoS) helps you rack up a quick win. ask yourself this: can i activate Riverrun twice in a turn? or can i collect 8 power in one dominance phase using Minstrel's Muse? Den of the Wolf is a great way to rack up a lot of power in one turn.

First Turn: Feast or Famine (youll need the gold). just get hit by Valar Morghulis (Core)? use Family Duty Honor to refill your hand. you know that your opponent is going on the offensive? Loyalty money can buy. do you NEED Den of the Wolf now? Building Season. do you NEED to defend this turn to activate Riverrun? Desolate Passage. and with Frozen Outpost, you will never lose

side note: honestly, i was thinking about adding in Bran Stark (LoW) to combine with Catelyn Stark (LoW) and House Tully Septon (LoW) for a huge boost, but i dont know if its worth it to dilute the theme and what im trying to do...thoughts?

i'd say repeating dominance is likely your strongest bet, unless they tap out trying to get through your defenses, then i'd repeat challenges and reap uncontested power and challenge victories. also no bran is nice but he soft on the field and could muddle the deck down, but it could be quite the shift your way if his ability triggers
you mean when his ability trigger. with LoW Caitlyn Stark in hand its a surprise win in Intrigue.

and as for repeating the challenge phase, id never use it to attack, thats the perfect way to a loss by an event (like Misinformation (TWH) ) even if they are tapped out. i would repeat the challenge phase only if Riverrun's trigger provides me with more than 4 power (4 per trigger of Minstrels Muse). (and i cant lose a challenge of course)

the thing about Tully Decks are, people think too offensively, like your comment about the challenge wins. you need to think more defensively. however i will take the challenge wins if i stay away from the hurtful ones depending on the house (Intrigue for Lannester, Military for Stark, Power for Targ) and ill never attack a Martell player. ever, thats how you walk into a loss lol

I know you're going for a theme, but honestly I'd branch out a bit and pick up some of the better non-Tully Stark characters. Knight of Tumblestone is pretty unsexy, especially when you compare it to a Damon Dance-For-Me (VD) or even Hodor (Core). And why rusted sword, its not like you really need a military icon, perhaps Frozen Solid (LoW) to give you a little bit of control. And on that topic, I'd probably try and get even more control in the deck, consider Paper Shield (QoD) in place of feigned retreat, after all, you shouldn't be loosing military challenges anyways, you're Stark.
you barely have intrigue characters, just catelyn and 3 messengers, how are you going to guarantee triggering riverrun if you can't defend from intrigue challenges?
I see some House Tully Septon (LoW) now. Nice!
Have you considered a The Raven's Message (TRS) anyway?
I'm pretty new, but I've been rolling with Robb Stark (LoW) in my Tully build with
Crown of Winter (LoW) attached to either Robb or
The Blackfish (LoW) and naming House Tully as the trait with Robb's ability, which along with the crown adds +2 STR to almost every character you have out there. Really helps with a defensive build, especially with
Hoster Tully (LoW) and
Winterfell Castle (Core) in the mix, I cleaned up yesterday using this method. Maybe drop
Knight of the Tumblestone (Core) to add these to your deck, you don't have a war crest buff as far as I can see and the benefits of the STR boost is badass. You veterans most likely have ways around this but if you start with a solid defensive foundation, and whilst doing so attack primarily with Blackfish to stack him with 3 renown power (occasionally drawing cards along the way) so that your Tully characters don't kneel to attack. You'll hopefully still have a decent defensive wall in place and can attack and defend at your free will
