Things I Learned This Regional Season(2011 Pt 2)

Posted by kpmccoy21 , 15 June 2011 · 82 views

4) Perceived Threat will cause a greater reaction than Actual Dominance. Martell obviously is the top House and Martell/Summer is arguably the strongest build, yet no outcry for changes to the environment. But let 50-100 people make decks with proxies and we get FAQ 3.2. Strange we preempt possible dominant builds yet meekly accept actual dominant builds. The Jedi Counsel is strangely quiet about this disturbance in the force.

5)New Englanders are a strange entitled bunch. God forbid they should travel south to a Regional in the Mid-Atlantic, yet they will call out the rest of the East Coast metas for not traveling north. Do they not realize Amtrak, I-95, etc run south as well as north or are they just entitled, self-important prigs that think the Regional season revolves them. Feel free to make an effort to travel before calling out the other metas that travel on a regular basis.

6) Lannister doesn't need Castellan to be top tier. By moving Pyromancer's Cache on the Restricted List, Lannister may have become better while losing Castellan of the Rock. Alchemist Guildhall gets around most immunities and isn't that hard to trigger every round. And for most control players, draw = win. The rich just keep getting richer.
