A: Yes, when you play a card you must follow all rules about how to play the card. Flooded Vault, much like Corrupted Midwife, only changes the location of the card it is letting you play the card from not how the card is payed for.

Yeah, except Midwife actually says you 'play' the card, while 'Flooded Vault' says 'put into play'. This comparison is hence faulty.
I'd asked the question, too, pointing out that difference, but didn't get an answer yet.

Give them time: maybe they are currently rewriting the entire FAQ to make the card sound correct :P

Although I am stepping away from the game, the deck I had built for worlds has no real issues with the mill deck or any of the other combos decks that are out there. Although I will not be playing it I know some will be taking my list to worlds.

Damn it! 0-2 against the mill! If only the real issues would show up, I'd have no problem! Thank god I won't be playing it, though I know some that will...
