Opening with Condemned by the Realm allows you to form alliances and right from the start of the game. High initiative plots allow you to jump in early and claim as many unopposed challenges as possible. Wex Pyke, Support of Harlaw, Assault of the Kraken, and Rise of the Kraken can all help you net a lot of power very quickly.

All the saves in this deck let you use Valar offensively, allowing you to get more power despite the lack of claim. Theon and Corpse Lake allow you to grab some cheeky power. Aeron is a quick way of getting out Dragonstone Convert, for some vigilant, unopposed bliss.

I like knights of the hollow hill, in conjuction with condemed by the realm.
It minimizes the fact you have no set up characters/locations and is never directed at you !
Simple combos are sometimes the best combos !

From the way you ddescribed Theon and Corpse Lake, it makes it seem like you are suggesting that Theon can trigger Corpse Lake. From what I undersatnd, this is impossible. Theon's discard effect is not a "triggered" effect (no bold text before the effect description) and Corpse Lake can only get power by *triggered* discard effects.
