Are they giving away damage tokens too? I don't remember the article mentioning it, but this ebay listing shows tokens.

They are damage tokens, but they are different than the regionals red ones. There are little baggies of 3 at registration.

Letux
likes - choosing a dark deck via coin flip
dislikes - agot2

I'm about an hour away from choosing my dark deck via coin flip. It worked out ok for Letux... right?

Don't let your decks be dreams. Just do it.

Dav's got the round 1 results/round 2 pairings up, and a nice long introduction article on deck testing leading up to today.  People should check it out as we wait for the trickle of info coming out of the store-room.

Is there a picture of the pairings anywhere? Does anyone know who is in the top spots?

72% Jedi / 20% Smugglers / 8% Rebels

54% Navy / 24% Sith / 22% Scum

Are these statistics from FFG based purely by affiliation card or by the dominant faction in each deck?

I would assume just affiliation card. It would take to much work for them to figure out a ratio like that.

Those numbers sound like what I have heard from people who are there. It sounds like Jedi are everywhere and Navy is doing very well for the DS.

And the next round is up. Dav had been posting pictures of the pairings on his blog post on teamsandcrawla. Check the link in the first post.

A good number of those Navy decks could simply be Sith + Thrawn > >.

Aaaannnd the next round is up. And judging from the list it isn't a complete sausage fest as earlier indicated.

I would personally expect:

LS: Jedi

DS: Sith + Thrawn

As the most common decks...

It would definitely be nice to see a surprise deck stand out, similar to last years Trench Run.

Actually it sounds like Thrawn is basically a no show. Lots of straight navy though.

Outer Rim Mystics killed Thrawn in his sleep.
