Luwin says:
While you control Bran Stark, the latter gains "immune to opponents' plot effects".
Fortified Position says:
Treat each character as if its printed text box were blank (except for Traits).
I assume that when Luwin is blanked by this, it will in turn remove Bran's immunity and he, too, will be blanked during that turn?

In the same vein then, if you choose to kill Maester Luwin during a Wildfire Assault, does that, in turn, kill Bran?

No. Bran cannot be killed by Wildfire while Luwin is out, even if Wildfire kills Luwin.
The reason for this is that all characters not chosen are killed simultaneously. So there is never a moment during the resolution of Wildfire where Luwin has already left play, but the plot is still in the process of killing things so can now hit Bran.
