Just thought I'd get this thread started so we could all keep tabs on attendance and hopefully win ratio between LS and DS.

I'm in a Facebook group for the Atlanta meta and saw that they had their Store Championship last Saturday.

Jan. 9

Giga-Bite

Attendance - 8

Winner - Shayne Lindeman

DS - Navy

LS - Jedi & Smugglers

Just curious why run smugglers affiliation and not Jedi for that deck? You would only be missing on c3po, which is probably not the reason for running that set to begin with lol.

I think maybe C3PO is important for the deck. It is very low on resources and the two 3POs are a resource.

And extra cards for edge helps enabling the bonus blast from Warriors of the Forest, which is critical.

C3PO was vital for both reasons mentioned above and I did not have a lot of trouble getting Jedi cards out when needed.

I built the deck on New Years Day and played it exactly twice before the tournament. I was looking for something that could possibly bring a lot of damage to bear quickly but cheaply.

I was Warriors of the Forest in every game. My one loss was to a Sith deck that beat me handily (even though I blew up 2 objectives and damaged a third). I never felt in that game.

When we I played it again I started with 2 Warriors of the Forest and a Rash Action in my hand (using it on Mara Jade) allowing me to quickly dispatch 2 of his objectives and I was able to get the third with a second Rash Action on Palpatine.

All in all the deck is really fun

I played against a similar deck the other night and felt in complete control the entire game until the Ewok swarm became too much for my Sith units. I think Ewoks could be an interesting option for people looking for something out of the ordinary.

I am more interested in results with imperial command and death and despair. I played with these objective before IE came out and I really liked them.

What were your reasons to include them and how you feel about them? What are your thughts after tournament?

Same question for playing double yularen.

I find this set very very very strong but I go for only one most of times.

Why not imperial blockade and deploy the fleet?

Here is what I played with at FFG last weekend. Beat Mick based on SoS, both of us 5-1. We had 8 players. I didn't play with vehicles or tuksens at worlds so I felt like I had to. :D

LS(3-0)

2x Defense of Yavin 4

2x Rebel Fleet

2x Command and Control

1x Rogue Squadron Assault

1x Bucket of Bolts

1x Fortune and Fate

1x Renegade Squadron Mobilization

DS(2-1)

2x Emperors Web

2x Counsel of the Sith

2x Fall of the Jedi

1x Agent of the Emperor

1x Brothers of the Sith

1x Imperial Bureaucracy

1x Across the Jundland Wastes

My goal was to speed up the game drastically. Death and Despair is great at that and Imperial Command Has a ton of utility that helps with the same goal.

Two of Enforced Loyalty is an easy decision. There were/are games where I allow Yularn to get killed just to drop another to move the damage off of my objectives. Also, I want to increase my my chances of seeing Mouse Droids and Imperial Fists.
