What's up with people who have Small Council under their user name? How can I hooked up with that? Or is there an alternative group like the Gold Cloaks? Seems like an inclusive community, so it should be NBD to get hooked up with it.

Which always makes me laugh: because fighting for a just society is such a terrible thing to label someone with, right?

If wanting to treat everyone fairly and avoid language designed to insult specific groups of people makes you an SJW then I where do I sign up?

Heh...so, remember when you said that, when you tell  people why you voting for Trump, you'll point them to this thread?

When I make fun of people who vote from Trump, I'll point them to this thread.

I mean...I assume you're a troll. If so, well done. If not..........these pretzels are making me thirsty.

Why do you think this is about rights at all?  I'm not familiar with U.S. law but I highly doubt the Constitution applies to the moderation of an online forum or decisions made about who/what said forum permits to advertise through it.

Nobody's rights ended, they didn't have any (here) to begin with..

I don't think anyone is trying to raise any freedom of speech issues. I'm referencing some of the general intolerance directed towards non-PC content/behavior.

You said "rights," not me.  Anyway I don't really understand what you're trying to suggest - people complaining about language and behaviour they find offensive bothers you because you don't also find it offensive?

So your rights are in danger... why? Are your rights damaged because other people disagree with you? Isn't that their right? Did the PC Guardes just storm your home and take you in custody? I guess not. So stop crying about your rights nobody is touching your rights, you have all the right in the world to ceep beeing a stupid ignorant intolerant, brainfarted troll, and we have all the rights in the world to tell you what you are.

Some people on the previous page were talking about how they want to be known as an SJW. Let's clear up that definition in the first place: An SJW is someone who uses "oppression" or "infringement on my/their rights" to gain support in order to advance their agenda (an agenda that does not include equal rights). Why are they called Social Justice Warriors? It's the same way the Republican movement to ban unions is called "Right to Work". Some things just have misleading names. An example of that was this:
There once was a transgender person who went from boy to girl. The school said that the girl wouldn't be allowed to change for gym with the other girls, because that would make the parents of the other girls uncomfortable. The parents of the transgender girl agreed, and so did the girl. That seemed reasonable to them that the other parents might feel uncomfortable about having a former boy changing with the girls. Enter SJWs. They came in, and forced, and I say forced, the parents to sue the school because the girl's "rights were being infringed". School lost, and the rest is history.

That is what an SJW is. You can (and should) believe in equal rights and treating everyone with respect, but that doesn't make you an SJW. It's the same way that you can believe in equal rights for women and not be a feminist.

That story is not true. And you are a feminist however you label yourself if you believe in equal rights for women. There are many types of feminists though.

Over in Warhammer Conquest, we had a facebook group that one day "banned" people having the rainbow flag filter - while the person saying so had a "one man + one woman" image has his profile.

Needless to say that group was dissolved, and that player probably committed "delete ******* everything" and created a new online persona

Hello A Game of Thrones community-

It is with great regret that I have decided to lock this thread. Although it began with noble intentions (thank you, PulseGlazer), it has dissolved into little more than backbiting and unfruitful, unrelated arguments.

Please remember that while you are posting on these forums, you are expected to treat all other users with respect—regardless of your personal opinions. Feel free to continue beneficial discussion in other threads.

This thread is now locked.
