I like what I see here... when the game was announced I was a little disappointed that you can not play as evil factions.. but by not using named factions and instead using what is basically a class system they can still releases evil factions and cultists and stuff.

 

That being said I still think that it would have been cool to work out some way to have monsters and the like in our decks like CoC.

Perhaps there will be Mystic cards that let you summon something into your Ally slot, or temporarily control a monster.

I keep trying to draw analogies to the Cthulhu LCG. Rogues are like the Syndicate, with tricks to cheat or avoid combat. Seekers are like Miskatonic, with card draw. Guardians are like the Agency, taking the hits and dealing them out. But mystics don't seem to be like Yog-Sothoth, being more gamblers than peeking ahead or monkeying with the discard pile.

All i know is I want some syndicate stuff in the game. It was my favorite faction in CoC

I like this idea. As somebody drawn to the mystic side of things, in all games Mythos related, the idea of being able to summon up the bad guys and use them ourselves, certainly appeals. :)
