Jhogo & number of characters in the dead pile

Two cards = two characters, always. Two cards cannot ever be one character. They're two copies of the same character, two clones, but never one character. In any out-of-play game zone.

Hi !

Jhogo attacks in a challenge.

While Jhogo is attacking, he gets +X STR, where X is the number of characters in the defending player's dead pile.

I look in my opponent's dead pile and find the following cards:

- 2 "Steward at the Wall"

- 1 "Jon Snow"

- 2 "Littlefinger" (the 2nd copy had been put in dead pile because of "Heads on Spikes")

Does X = 5 or X = 4 ?

In other words, do the 2 "Littlefinger" cards count for 2 characters or only one (because it's a unique character) ?

Thank you :)

In any game zone.

Only in out of play zones. In play, there can be only one copy of each unique card for each player. The others become duplicates (if they can enter play at all).
