If I have esgred out (with a duplicate) and i play asha, do I have to sacrifice esgred still?

Also, can I use iron mines to save esgred if asha is out?

You are posting in the AGoT 1st edition forum (a game which does not have the concept of "sacrifice").

That said, the answer to your questions is that sacrificed cards cannot be saved by any means, so duplicates are irrelevant (they'll be discarded) and other save effects are equally useless. Also, "sacrificed" is distinct from all other ways a card can leave play, including "killed" and "discarded", so Iron Mines' interrupt wouldn't qualify (it specifies "killed").
