It has been a while since I have frequented these forums, so I was surprised to see email from here offering services which are...illegal in most US states.

Subject line is:

Subject: Gernora19 started a new personal conversation with you.

Granted I have had the same email address for over 25 years and so get a lot of junk, but this one came with a noreply@cardgamedb.com address.

Edit: Just noticed I have a message here from the above individual.

Me, too.  For what it's worth, the email associated with my account seems fine (no spam or weird messages/phishing that I've seen), but it was pretty troubling all the same.

Poor sexbot doesn't know I'm ghey.  I almost feel bad for it.

User database not hacked (or at least, if it was, this is not the evidence of it).  This was a bad actor account created that spammed PMs.  Accounts can send PMs immediately upon creation (only forum posts pend administrator approval).  If you receive a spam PM, report it with the report button and delete the message.  Do not click on any links within the message.

Thank you!  I deleted it, unfortunately, but will report it next time!
