This is just a Greyjoy Deck I have been toying around with. A mill deck. I am wondering how to work the River Plots as they could be fun but they seem to be poor for the economy. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

pulled under should be taken out just because its 3 gold attachment. I would never pay more than 2 gold for attachments.

If you're pulling out a 3 gold card, I'd splash in Jojen Reed (LoW)

I think The Long voyage is a better agenda for a Greyjoy Mill deck. I know HoD has its uses but drawing 3 cards a turn in the kind of deck is amazing. Focus solely on Raiders and good uniques and that will create a well costed character base. Around 45-50 characters is ideal.

I had some good success with We Take Westeros. Obviously its a Raider deck so you will always have the requirements (unless its gone horribly wrong.) Combined with Naval Escorts you can mill ridiculous amounts of cards. I think I milled nearly 50 in my last game from 1 power challenge. Needless to say, that was game over.

Yes the river plots are pretty terrible for this build. You need a more consistant gold flow from your plots to ensure you can flood the board. Obviously my build was TLV so the economy was much different to what I see here. But most of my plots produced 4 or 5 to allow me to play whatever I would draw into.

I feel like my deck with a little work could actually be very competitive and a hell of a lot of fun to play.

One thing I did find annoying though was that as most Raiders arent in fact Ironborn, Finger Dance wasnt all that hot for me and thats a real shame.

I feel you have neglected Training Vessel. That card is amazing for mill decks especially with Bloodthirsty Crew.

You're right that most of the Raiders aren't Ironborn, but nearly all the unique GJ characters are, so both traits end up being rather useful in the end.

Little late, but: Why are there two different Eurons in here?

You can play different cards of the same character you just have to decide which text you will choose to use from both cards, when revealed. Wouldn't recommend though.

I largely agree with Skelton to use a different Agenda or none at all. Also, drop the River-Plots since they don't provide much Gold for income and even less Initiative.

However I would keep "Above the Sorrows" for its discard effect.

Furthermore, since you are obviously trying to discard as many cards from the opponents deck as possible I would think about using Events such as "Heads on Pikes" and "Raiding the Reach" and the Location "Longship Great Kraken". "Qarl the Maid" as a naval attacker is awesome aswell.

Maybe even make it Winter with "White Raven" to upgrade the effects of "Raiding the Reach" and "Frostfang Peaks" even more.
