I'm loving this Force pack. I like the new directions it's taking the game within the Star Wars universe. Are these championship material objective sets? Maybe not, but I still find them exciting. The most exciting one for me is the S&S set. I've been waiting and waiting for a Protect Vehicle ability. And I love that it's a Y-wing. It's just so cool! The Action Series Bulk Transport is neat, too. I can see a deck trying to put a bunch of Renegade Squadron sets together. Could be interesting.

Smugglers and Spies Jedi Affiliation
2x A Journey to Dagobah
2x The Secret of Yavin 4
2x Questionable Contacts
2x Renegade Squadron Mobilization
2x Prepare for Evacuation.

It's a deck full of protection. You're going to want to get the Renegade Squadron Escort out to protect Red Five and the Action Series Bulk Transport. The transport tries to get Protectors, Twi'lek Smugglers, or Renegade Squadron Operatives out for free. This is not -- I repeat -- this is NOT a competitive deck, but I think it would be a lot of fun to play to try to pull off all these tricks. The problem with this deck lies mainly in it's lack of blast damage: 1 from Han, 3 from Red Five, and hopefully get some extras from Echo Caverns. Otherwise, you're really hoping for unopposed damage.

Moving on..
I'm liking the Z-95 Headhunters. I haven't wrapped my brain around all the thing you could do with them, but they look like solid units for S&V. I also like their synergy with Ugnaught. Ugnaught also works well with my Sith/S&V deck because of the Interrogation Droids. I really like Carbonite Chamber Activation for 1 resource. I can see that causing problems for a LS player. Cloud City Incinerator is my least favorite. The only thing I look forward to with that card is my opponent sacrificing Leia and watching her get discarded instead of captured.

Sorry, but that's not a legal deck. Journey to Dagobah requires Jedi affiliation. Of course, that's probably what you meant to put in the first place ;-)

Good point! Actually, I wasn't thinking of affiliations at all. I'm just so used to running S&S as the primary affiliation because there are usually fewer of those. In this case, yes, Jedi Affiliation works much better.

I wonder how a deck like this would run:

Rebel Affiliation

2x Prepare for Evacuation
2x Renegade Squadron Mobilization
2x Preparation for Battle
2x Hoth Operations
1x Echo Base Defense
1x Sensors Are Placed

Those prophets are terrible on the draw, but I suppose you can at least pitch them to draw...

So I tested out two decks tonight:

LS: Jedi
2x Forgotten Heroes (obiwan)
2xIn You Must go (yoda)
2xSelf Preservation
2xHeroes Journey
2xYavin 4 (protectors)

Similar to Han/Jedi you get big guys and protectors.

You also get a great ability to grab the force and keep it (Sorensu on Yoda, ObiWan + the objective)

The jedi mind tricks help you deal with pesky sith big guys

Gotols give you some serious blast potential.

not sure I am sold on this deck... but im going to keep testing it

DS: Navy
2xDark Time
2xDefense
2xEndor
2xImperial Command
2xDevastator

Great blast potential...ATSTs are great defenders. Lots of shielding potential. Good resources.

I agree as then you can use him to attack, get the force, and have him ready on DS turn to defend.
