Looks like a good deck.  My one comment is that your willpower icon spread is really low.  My concern is always Crypt Chill with Ashcan because it seems to come up in a lot of scenarios.  You are running a lot of cheap assets though so maybe you'll be fine most of the time.

I agree about the Fire Axe.  I don't think Pete has a good option for a backup weapon, but most of the time I never need a weapon. If you lose Duke you are in serious trouble anyway.   For me a combat turn is usually:  Use Duke.  If it isn't dead discard to use Duke again.  If it still isn't dead evade it.  Maybe a Flare would be a good panic button purchase.  Also you could just throw a knife in those situations.  It doesn't run you into a hole like Fire Axe (you wanna hold onto that money to up Duke) and you have Scavenging in the deck to pick the knife back up.

If he is intended for 1 player then imo Scrying is essential, would swap Hard Knocks for this.

If its 2 or more its less important.

Yeah unless explicitly noted everything I make is intended for 2+. I tend to lean toward specialization rather than generalization -- 30 cards is too small a deck to try and make everyone decent at everything, imo -- but Ashcan is definitely a great solo candidate so fair point.

Boy, spot on here. I wasn't very concerned about Cryptic Chill (or other asset-endangering encounters) specifically, my answer to that was just asset flooding rather than making sure I can pass the test (since you can't make completely sure of that!), but there was plenty of other stuff for which I definitely noticed the lack of willpower icons. Not just encounters but random act/agenda/location tests to do Stuff, too.

Yep! Exactly my experience. Keeping Fire Axe for now but looking forward to better last-ditch options in the rest of the cycle.

Thanks for the feedback!
