Anyone used this guy? You have to be engaged with at least 2 enemies to match Warden of Helms Deep...and then I guess you have to deal with your own enemies and hence sentinel will become useless? Only Descendants of Kings appears to make him worth playing, but still...

Forest snare is your friend, played with Damrod.

He's also quite good in a deck with a main hero defender who blocks 2+ small enemies using unexpected courage. Then you can save the guardian for bigger stuff or use him to block things on other players with sentinel.

Here is a really good deck that utilizes all the Dunedain guys.

Unfortunately, Aragorn is already booked in our Group...blocks a lot of nice decks. And than its hard to handle all those Resource cons.

I can see him work, but still think that (as said, besides Descendants of Kings) Defender of Rammas or Winged Guardian or even Warden of Helms Deep is a better choice. Maybe when they have add more Dunedain-pushers

In our common 3-player Scenario we Need Beregond with Courage for the bigger ones, 4+ attack enemies are very common in the mean time, small enemies are rather rare

Maybe I will try him in my new Elladan/Elrohir/Halbarad deck. THX

I don't think he is worth it if you aren't pushing the Dunedain them.  In the deck I linked you could drop Aragorn for some other Lore hero: Galdor, Grima, Treebeard or maybe even Pippin.   Then you give up the Aragorn based attachments and put in some Songs of Travel so you can keep the spirit cards.  After you've trapped a few things you can start putting in a Dunedain for free each turn with Heir of Valandil.

He is great! I use him in a dúnedain deck, with the forest trap, or weak enemies he easily have 4 defense. Hhis hit points help to block big enemies.

In Siege quest he is the king!, I use two of them and quest for 14! (three traps and three other enemies) They gave the victory in Into Ithilien and Siege of Cair Andros.

One of my Co-playesr made a dunedain deck with heroes Amarthiul, Halbarad and Mablung, completely neglecting the lore cards, based on massive engagements. It works very well and also has the other cards like Dunedain Hunter, Fornost Bowman and Tireless Hunters.

You were right! ;)
