I always run with three of these in a deck with Spirit heroes, especially if I am not running Eleanor (Core). This also has the added benefit of being able to cancel both treachery cards and "when revealed" effects from more powerful enemies, and discarded treacheries are not replaced. A must have.
Agree, very strong card for sure.
Auto-include in any deck with access to Spirit. Almost a reason by itself to play Spirit.

auto-include whenever you use spirit indeed, just like Sneak Attack (Core) for leadership

Not only do I run three of these in virtually every deck with Spirit - which is to say, virtually every deck - but I also frequently use Dwarven Tomb (Core) to pull them back from the discard pile. The best alternative to this card is Eleanor (Core), but I definitely prefer this card as it doesn't take up a Hero slot.

A card that is unlikely to be surpassed for quite a while.

Very cheap and with so many brutal Reveal effects in the game, it lets the heroes survive much longer.

Only this card "A Test of Will" and "Miner of the Iron Hills", in the Core, can save you to the "Caught in a Web". A terrible Treachery and Condition Attachment...

A must have ever!
