I think this is now my favourite ally. More allies of this quality, please!
even if she had no text I would play her only to see the image
I exhaust her as often as I can...and don't overlook the +1 defense she provides to your main blocker.
Superb card that quests well and gives a nice bonus to a big defender. Great in solo, but unmatched in multi-player, especially for that cost.
This could very well be the best card in the game. And it's useful too ;)

Care to define what "best card in the game" entails?
Thicket of Spears (Core), Light the Beacons (HON), Behind Strong Walls (HON), O Elbereth! Gilthonial! (SaF) and Sneak Attack (Core) are all good examples of decent card abilities.
The list just goes on. Claiming that there is "One Card to rule them all" (sorry couldn´t resist) seems quite presumptuous to me.

she's purrdy <3

Great, great card. Even in Spirit, 2 willpower for 2 resources is perfectly respectable. But the fact that she is a unique Noldor Noble makes her super versatile.

And that's before we even talk about how pro her ability can be when combined with non-traditional defenders like Bilbo, Frodo, Eleanor, Berevor, etc. Heck, even more traditional high-hit point, high-defense heroes and allies occasionally just need that extra defense when defending. Or, even more useful sometimes, that often forgotten Sentinel keyword.

I wasn´t aware that Sentinel was a forgotten keyword :P

Have been using her quite regular, since we got her waaay back, excactly because of Sentinel

Lol--well clearly you are playing with better players than me and my friends or girlfriend!

There have been a lot of times where I have seen her used and nobody at the table remembers that she gave someone Sentinel until AFTER we take a painful undefended attack on someone we didn't think would have to deal with an enemy this turn!

But actually I was more meaning that Sentinel in general is undervalued, I think. Ranged gets a lot of love but most decks aren't built with Sentinel in mind...it's a nice value-added bonus but rarely a fully fledged strategy.

Maybe it´s because we run our decks pretty specialized (we play 3-man) and the fight-deck will always include something which let´s him take care of enemies from different positions and circumstances; ranged and sentinel are just a few easy ways of doing this.

My decks utilize Sentinel quite heavily both via giving Elrohir sentinel via Arwen or Elven Mail then giving him steward and multiple defensive attachments allowing him to defend for both decks as well as the allies who have sentinel such as Derndingle Warrior and Gimli who further help to defend the questing/support deck.

I don't disagree at all that Sentinel's powerful. I just think I see fewer decks geared towards Sentinel as a core strategy. Possibly because you don't necessarily know the strengths and weaknesses of the other players.

Love the new Hero but unless I am specifically playing discard shenanigans this is my Arwen.

Auto-include. One of the best allies in the game. She's worth it even for the 2 willpower and +1 defense she grants to another character. Fantastic.
