Contrarily to his extremely underwhelming Lore version, this Faramir is excellent and, though belonging in Leadership, much more in tune with the Lore sphere than the other one. Do you want to play a Traps build? Couple him with Damrod and use his Response on Lore Anborn to both recur traps and leverage his high attack. Do you fancy Ents, but their built-in exhaustion effect gives you pause? Well, no more. Do you like Ranger effects such as those of Ithilien Tracker and Ranger Bow, but the exhaustion they demand ruins your plans? Faramir is your man. In-sphere Ranger synergy you say? Him and Leadership Anborn go so well together. Other than forcing us to forfeit his perfect ally version, I do not find any flaws on this hero, taken for granted that his previous version imposed those specific stats on us and we have to live with them. Oh, but aren't Dunedain signals to buff him up Leadership anyway? The only advantage the Lore Faramir has over this one is his ability to carry a Burning Brand without any tweaking, if we go the defender's way for him. In all other aspects, especially those that thematically have to do with a Ranger's life, this Faramir reigns supreme. One of my favorite Leadership heroes to be sure.
