I can't figure out what the use for this card is. Spending 4 credits to give yourself a brain damage needs a big payoff.

My first thought is a connections deck with this and Theophilius Bagbiter. Given the ridiculous economy you can get in those decks, outpacing 1 brain damage every 3 turns is trivial. The extra clicks give you that many more uses of tri-maf contacts and Kati Jones while still letting you do things on your turn other than gain credits.

This in conjunction with Rachel Beckman (and just for theme, stimhack) = glory run from hell against Bioroid with hopefully plenty of "clickable" ICE.

Well, I notice that it gains POWER COUNTERS rather than some other kind of counter. Thus, if they eventually print a Runner card that allows you to take power counters off of another card and use them for something else, this would become an engine card.

In the meantime however it is just too dangerous. If it was on a three turn clock instead of a two turn clock you could pull ahead by allowing it to cycle once thru and then trash it to Pawnshop or Chopbot before the second brain damage hit and get a decent trade. So, yeah, it currently seems unplayable, but has the sort of open ended wording that might turn out to combo well with future cards.

It is on a three turn cycle.
Turn 0; play "Stim Dealer".
Turn 1; 0 counters, +1 Click, + 1 counter.
Turn 2; 1 counters, +1 Click, + 1 counter.
Turn 3; 2 counters, +1 Brain Damage, clear counters.
Turn 4; return to turn 1.

Turn 2; 1 counters, +1 Click, + 1 counter.
Turn 3; 2 counters, +1 Brain Damage, clear counters.
Turn 4; return to turn 1.

You take the damage on the third turn, meaning you get 2 turns of positive use out of it before the downside hits you...thus a 2 turn clock of safe usage.

IMO, if you took the brain damage on the 4th turn, netting one more safe click, it would be worth playing around the brain damage as the number of clicks netted would be worth the cost of drawing, installing, milking it, and then feeding it to Pawnshop.
