At first it felt like a typo (with old man's eyes it really looks like its written IG-888)

Then I read it correctly and I remembered that there was four of them. Maybe one day we will have 4 IG-88 pods :D

Looks like you were right ;)

K4 in this set cleans up. IG-88B pings exhausted Solidarity Home One, pulling it into combat. K4 does a damage with its text, and then with its extra gun from IG-88B, finishes Home One off. 4 health mains are not safe.

Yes. It's what you do. :)

I just noticed this reaction doesnt have 'if able' in it. Does that mean you can pull exhausted units into the engagement?

Very True.

There's not very much to counter those guys.

And if your lone attacker is Moldy Crow...

Corrupt officials still laugh at you.

That's a fair comparison, but nonetheless the ability to take a unit out of the Conflict phase shouldn't be understated. Mono-Navy decks have seen a significant decline since the introduction of the new affiliation cards so this card can see a lot of mileage and I imagine this pod will see a lot more play than Core Obi as well.

I haven't played the game in 4 cycles, so am I crazy to think this objective set is pretty solid?  Also, Dice Ibegon is female.  *nerd*

This effect is insane for light side.

Is it? It seems to be a weaker version of Jedi Mind Trick to me. Though the mind trick is a very powerful card IMO, it has hardly been game changing with all those Vehicle-based Navy decks out there...

It just prevents damage on hoth objectives. So if they did take Lak, they could still hit non-hoth objectives even if you controlled more hoth objectives than the DS player.

No. Effects that declare units as attackers or defenders specifically use that wording (see Imperial Raider for an example of that).

If I bounce this unit into the engagement via Bait and Switch, is it "declared an attacker?" Or does this by pass the reaction?

When you deal unopposed damage for an engagement where Lak is attacking, you hit all enemy objectives with it, not just the one you're attacking.

Does this effect cancel the "reward unopposed" step outright, or does it just prevent the damage? Not that I expect this situation to ever come up, but it would be relevant if DS took control of Lak Sivrak.
