It would be a reinvestment problem for me, having just spent hundreds on it i wouldnt want to start again, thats all i was saying there. In my opinion a reboot wouldn't cause problems with reinvestment. There is a large following for Conquest that would likely expand into invasion 2.0. There are also some mechanics that could be updated (power) that are more interesting. You could get 10 real factions out of the game. After the release of Conquest, 40k in general became highly popular. And Warhammer is an interesting world. Releasing an LCG would balance the choices of games for those interested in Warhammer. I myself don't care much fo RPGs, seeing as the closest thing to an RPg that I play is Talisman.
Also, Ive followed Games Workshop for about 30 years and while there are exceptions to the rule (including myself) most people I have found prefer WFB or 40k and often dont cross the boundary between (sadly) so Im not sure Conquest would attract too many players to a WI reboot.
