Thursday nights atm (Euro and American timezones) so around 5am and 11am Friday for us guys in Australia. It would be nice to get a local one happening too but it might just be me and you Tragic - haha. Plus I boardgame Thursday nights.
Seems to be coming along slowly but surely. I got 1 game in on Euro time and 5 so far in American this week (on 'Thursday').
OCTGN seems to be more popular than Lackey but that will probably change once / if Lackey is updated with Denizens (hint hint). Though a few newer players are being recruited on OCTGN because of the larger player base which doesn't seem likely on Lackey. Getting both rolling though would be nice as I like each for different reasons, but Denizens is just the deal breaker.

Thanks to all for the night's gaming ! Took my experimental Misk / Synd EXTREME rush deck in to see just how quick things can be (10 x 0 Cost, 24 x 1 Cost and 16 x 2 Cost) and found that when it fires it fires for a 3:0 win, but when it goes second against a strong Combat / Arcane deck then like a lot of rush decks it falters at around the 4:4:3 success token mark and craps itself. Very glad to see that it isn't all that great and appreciation to MnBroncos for proving it with a very nice deck he's got coming along at the moment. Twice !! Those that got beaten by it I think will be glad to know that it isn't really competitive across the board, though throw Peter Clover into such a low cost deck and it might be a different story.......
Time to start working on a new fang dangled project for next week !

Sounds like OCTGN was where the action was last night. I'm glad to hear folks got some games in.
Next week, same Lackey time, same Lackey place!

I'll swing over to Lackey for a bit next week Blinovitch. Just thought you might be getting sick of playing against me all the time

ok, long overdue, but i'll try to get online next Thursday to play some games. I will try out Lackey and OCTGN. Will have to think up some new deck first as I just got Denizens in.
EDIT: just tried lackey and OCTGN and noticed that latest expansion is not yet present in lackey? Is that correct or has the update link changed?

Just got to try out a new Yog-Sothoth and Silver Twilight deck with my friend on Lackey tonight. I didn't get the chance to use Magical Theorist to speed up playing characters from the discard with Rite of the Silver Key, which was the whole point, but it was fun. Sarah Van Shaw with Eltdown Shards attached was the MVP, boosting a couple Guardians of the Dawn.

I want to start trying this, I've had the game for ages and I love buying expansions for it and building decks but can never find anyone to play with in real life haha. Is it better to play on octgn or Lackeyccg? Also would anyone be willing next week to play with me and be on skype or some other voip service? I haven't played enough to get all the rules 100% down haha, I think be able to talk while playing would really help.

The majority of online players seem to prefer OCTGN. The plugin has the advantage of automation and being kept up to date. Lackey's less feature rich and its plugin maintainer has other things going on at the moment. But Lackey runs on Mac and Linux OSes as well, so it's a trade-off. I'm a Mac user myself, so I have to use Lackey.I want to start trying this, I've had the game for ages and I love buying expansions for it and building decks but can never find anyone to play with in real life haha. VOIP would absolutely help learning. I once tried to teach a friend without VOIP. I think I retyped about half the rulebook in the course of one game.

Hopefully will meet other players next week

Was good to play you, and learn afterwards not to do stupid stuff like send in my Terror guy brought out with Rite of the Silver Key to a conspiracy without Terror struggles...
