Well if it's any consolation your going to get the most feared jawa warlord in the galaxy. I liked him in the ccg.

Scum is fat with tactics already. They just need ways to tick the dial.

True on that, but there's never enough tactics.

maybe a Reaction: if a card is captured pay one resource to up the dial by 1.

We're getting that in Boush with slightly different wording.

Awesome!  And congrats on being able to read the text on Boussh.  That thing's a doozy.

More generally speaking, I think Scum is starting to get some interesting tricks that are, well, more 'scummy,' if you'll pardon my language.  It's a good thing.  Having them revolve around capturing (the Slaver, Zuckuss's ability, etc.) is thematic and doesn't step on the toes of other affiliations' types of tricks (Smugglers and Spies' messing with the combat step, for example).

At the same time, I think Scum needs to have more punch, as in objective damage.  Taking deadly and ruthless mercenaries and just making them reactionary and defensive doesn't make a lot of sense.  We already have the Krayt Dragon set, and it's good to see the new Boba Fett, but Scum needs to find a middle ground between Navy's aggressiveness and Sith's control.  I think it's been getting there and will get a big boost with IG88.  Combining big hitters like him and Slave I with more defensive guys like Jabba sounds pretty cool.

I think Sith already occupies that middle ground, with thier utility events and mains.

Scum seems themed more for control. As such, I'd like see more tricks that influence the meta in a control capacity, like corrupt officials. We've got dial tick-ups and blast dmaage in the Pipeline, but scum is still missing event cancel, board wipes and higher force pip units. While I think the later is an intentional drawback. There has to be some bounty hunting force user that can give scum a 4 pip or higher unit.

Scum is getting a board wipe with thekka and I would argue that they don't necessarily need 4 pip units. Off the top of my head, S&S only have 3 and lower, same with rebels and navy as well. Only sith and Jedi come with 4+ pips, although it's certainly possible that prince xizor will have 4 but even he will likely have 3.

Aurra sing could be your force hunting bounty hunter. She was alive in the correct eras and she was trained by a Jedi and then hunted and killed Jedi.

I also would like to see more event cancel across the board. Other factions really need answers to all of siths events and the S&S events

I agree. Although I would say in a set with a good objective and mediocre cards. Everyone should have access to cancels but there needs to be a definite sacrifice to taking them, otherwise we end up with a meta where there's no point playing events as they'll just be cancelled.

once that happens, itll just be whoever has the most units on board wins, cause if theres an abundance of cancel effects, then there would be no point in running events
