Ok, so lets see about going this way then? This should tabulate a bit of what we had existing along with additional suggestions based on the addition of Glorfindel and Sam. The deck is looking awfully event and attachment heavy, even with several numbers TBA, so we might want to look at trimming some there.

Heroes:

Pippin (Lore)

Glorfindel (Spirit)

Sam (Leadership)

Allies:

Gandalf x3

Barliman Butterbur x2

Celduin Traveler x3

Ithilien Lookout x3

Galadhrim Minstrel x3

Galadriel's Handmaiden x?

Gildor Inglorion x?

Erestor x?

Faramir x?

Events:

Take No Notice x3

Needful to Know x3

Out of the Wild x2

Courage Awakened x2

Noiseless Movement x2

Galadhrim's Greeting x3

Timely Aid x?

Sneak Attack x?

Elrond's Council x?

Swift and Silent x?

Attachments:

Leaf Brooch x3

Resourceful x3

Fast Hitch x3

Anfalas x?

Elfstone x?

Has anyone actually had success with Needful to Know?  I find that I draw it, use it, and it's barely worth it.  Yes, the knowledge of what's coming up is nice, but I've eaten so many Treacheries with it that I stopped putting into my Secrecy decks (Elrond's Counsel generally taking its place).

I assume the Attachment, you mean Asfaloth?

We can probably trim this down at the end.

I had never paid much mind to Elf-Stone, but that seems super handy with some of these pricey Allies.

Yes, I meant Asfaloth. Whoops!

Yep, OkTarg turned me on to Elf-Stone for solo play. Since we know we'll always be first player when it triggers, we can use it to cheat some beefy dudes into play. I'm half tempted to suggest a copy of ally Beorn because of it. And Asfaloth means we can accelerate triggering it very nicely.

I have to admit that I've not played Needful to Know yet myself, but I've not personally played solo Secrecy before. it seems like the possibility of threat reduction + the near perfect knowledge of what will be revealed that turn from the encounter deck (barring surge, of course) allows for a really solid ability to plan out your turn and maximize performance. I'd be much more wary of it in a multiplayer game, but I think it might have a spot here for a couple copies.

Henamarth Riversong is also a great Solo ally for that reason....planning a turn ahead is great. Celduin Traveler/Ithilien Lookout serve much the same purpose and we should ABSOLUTELY go x3 on them.

We can also look for Very Good Tale, the Rivendell Scout (free ally!) and Bill the Pony (Free Ally!) but deckspace is getting a bit tight.

I would probably lean toward Timely Aid over Very Good Tale for this deck to continue playing up the Secrecy aspect.

Also, free allies are hard to pass up.

So, with us maintaining secrecy - I think Take No Notice won't have much bearing on the game over all and things are already +2 from Pippin/Sam.  For the same reason, I thinking Noiseless Movement could be dropped as well.

Needful to Know seems like it could have a place, but I also think it should be cut from the list for now until some games are played and see if we actually need more threat reduction effects.

We definitely need to include Light of Valinor x3 for Glorfindel.

Between Courage Awakened and Swift and Silent I would run 1x CA and 2x SaS.

Between Fast Hitch and SaS, I think we should include Peace and Thought for extra draw.

Timely Aid, regardless of what allies we end up with, will be a steal at 1 cost and should be x3

Butterbur gets removed since we aren't running x3 hobbit heroes.

Some other beefy characters to consider is Beorn, Boromir, Denethor, Landorval and Northern Trackers.   For any of these guys we do include, I suggest only 1x (of the unique ones) since we never want to use timely aid just to have it fail due to a unique guy already being in play.

And because outlands is OP, we could put in 3x Ethir Swordsman - if we ever get all 3 out that's 12 WP by themselves!

Can probably pull fast hitch. Sam usually can straighten himself (and isn't worthwhile in combat if he didn't) and Pippin isn't really worth straightening.

No love for Daeron's Runes here? Always seems to be the draw card that I wish I had more of.

well if we are dropping the fast hitches, I can see using Daeron's instead of Peace and Thought

The runes are autoincludes. 3x in every lore deck or you're doing it wrong :)

I almost never run them anymore, I honestly usually can't find space for a card that nets zero. There are so many good cards and so few room already for decks.

The card selection for no resources still makes it pretty great in my book.

it is a great card and can see why would always want to play it just i already struggle cutting to fifty every time and it often doesn't make it.

They are also good to pitch a Boromir to Stand and Fight ;)

Ok, using the above suggestions and a couple personal preferences puts us here, it looks like:

Heroes:

Pippin (Lore)

Glorfindel (Spirit)

Sam (Leadership)

Allies:

Gandalf x3

Celduin Traveler x3

Ithilien Lookout x3

Galadhrim Minstrel x3

Galadriel's Handmaiden x3

Gildor Inglorion x1

Erestor x1

Faramir x1

Denethor x1

Beorn x1

Northern Tracker x2

Henamarth Riversong x1

Bill the Pony x1

Rivendell Scout x3

Events:

Take No Notice x2

Out of the Wild x2

Courage Awakened x1

Galadhrim's Greeting x3

Timely Aid x3

Sneak Attack x3

Elrond's Council x3

Swift and Silent x2

Daeron’s Runes x3

Attachments:

Leaf Brooch x2

Resourceful x3

Asfaloth x2

Elfstone x2

Light of Valinor x3

Which puts us at 61, sooooo.... It's probably cutting time.

Without the use of A Very Good Tale, I'd easily cut Rivendell Scout.  Yes they are a zero cost ally, but they also don't offer any other function - unlike the rest of the allies listed.   -3

Oh drat. I'm here adding instead of taking away, but is a singleton of Gleowine probably a good idea?

And yeah, I could get on board with cutting the Scouts since they don't have any other ability.

I know! It's cutting time.

Ok, I'm good with cutting the Rivendell Scouts. That will bring us down to 58. Need to cut 8 more. Maybe go down to 1 Tracker?

Hmmm... what's our split between the spheres look like? We probably don't want to be too imbalanced anywhere there since we're tri-sphere.

We look really light on Leadership stuff overall, so probably need to cut in the Spirit/Lore areas.
