Hi all, I am considering purchasing this game as i have seen enough reports and comments to convince myself that i would enjoy.

The figures themselves are great but look vastly superior once they are painted.

Does anybody in the UK on these forums offer a service where i would supply the miniatures and they would paint the figures and if so can i get an indication of cost/ time ?

Many thanks

Hello mate,

I don't offer a service as such, but have painted models for people in the past. Happy to provide references and pictures if you like. If you get in touch and let me know how much you are looking to spend I will do it for you.

So I had never picked up a paint brush in my life before I bought Imperial Assault and was content playing with the figures as provided.  Then I started watching Sorastro's Video tutorials and jumped full force into painting my set.  He does such a great job of going over the basics and making it an easy step by step process I have now painted all my figures, plus all the Ally/Villain packs, and am starting in on a 2nd core set.  If you start simple; with Stormtroopers, and move on from there you will gain confidence and really start to see the quality in your painting improve very quickly.

You can find his videos here:

You can see some of my painting work on the FFG forums here: https://community.fa...ainting-thread/

Also if you are in the market for some 3d printed addons for the game, checkout my store here: https://www.etsy.com/shop/GamerPlastic
