Are there plans to do HQ scans of the cards, similar to GoT and CoC?

Yes, although they will not be as large as GoT or CoC (I'm running through ~1.5 gigabits of bandwidth per day just in images already).

Here is an example of the relative size and quality I"m shooting for (using a Warhammer card as an example):

Game has been out for a day, and no images so far. ;)

Am just twitching because my copy hasnt arrived yet.

Shame about the size of the images, the ones for CoC and AgoT are excellent. If you had the HQ ones avaialable, would it be possible to mail them across?

heh, well it isn't available yet anywhere in my neck of the woods. I believe that it shipped from distributors yesterday so it should be trickling into stores today and tomorrow.

I scan all my own images so it isn't really a matter of can I do it that big but more a matter of what is going to produce the best quality image for the size. I've learned with warhammer that the borderless cards are for some reason much more likely to produce so-so scans. I'll know better what I can squeeze out of it when I can actually scan a card. If I can get out a larger size I will though so I'll keep everyone updated.

Wow, the game was released for a whole day before people started chomping at the bit for card images? Heh heh... reminds me of Christmas: lots of impatient kids. dD

Now that it's been the first week, I'd like to give a heartfelt "thank you!" for having images up already! You rock (or else you have absolutely no life)! 8D

Great work on the cards, and the site in general. Now I can proxy the extra cards I need as I dont fancy buying 3 core sets just to test out certain decks :)

Any chance of having "The Massing at Osgiliath" encounter set posted?

Ya the set in on sale now by FF's Print on Demand service.

The reviews of it from GenCon were so good, I am really looking forward to checking it out myself.

Though no telling how long it will take to Print and Ship.

I just received my copy in the mail today. I haven't played it yet (I just got home from work) but I am excited despite the fact i will likely be stomped.
