Possible Modifications

There is much chat about Infighting (AJtR) and what the true value of this card is.

I am a bit of a fan of it but I can defiantly see that it is an conditional card that witch can stand dead in your hand for much of the time. The thing to remember though is that the deck is for the entire cycle, not a single quest, and Goblin Sniper (Core) for example is a nice target, as is adding a little extra dmg to some big mob you need that little extra to kill off.

The card combo's with Forest Snare (Core). Forest Snare (Core) can control scary early surprises from the encounter deck. The combo with Infighting (AJtR) is very good imo. You can keep an enemy alive in the staging area, top him up with dmg now and then when you need.. and this basically makes pulling infighting into drawing a direct dmg spell, kill threats revealed during questing even b4 calculating threat for example.

Though Forest Snare (Core) itself has been called into question as well... with so much attack power on the board and range and sentinel ... do you really ever need to snare anything?

Anyway, if those kind of questions about these cards vex you.. try this!!

2x Forest Snare (Core) <-- replaces --> 2x Mirkwood Runner (RtM)
2x Infighting (AJtR) <-- replaces --> 2x Stand and Fight (Core)

Mirkwood Runner (RtM) is a great card for dealing dmg on the fly (btw this card can improve the Snare+Infighting combo). This is the deck that is meant to be engaging most things so it fits in nicely to have this nice attacker.

Stand and Fight (Core) This is in fact a fantastic card, and should probably be in the first cut. You can bring back any ally from any gravyard, need more chumps.. you got it, need another fast condition attachment removed.. resurrect the Miner of the Iron Hills (Core) ...can be fetched with Dwarven Tomb (Core).. I mean.. this is a good card.
