Unless I was misinformed about the decks, the fact that Gencon came down to Targ Dragon Pit vs Targ Dragon Pit makes me think that if FFG does one last FAQ before worlds, burn decks may get hit. Personally I would love that as those are my worst match-ups, but at this point with all the 2.0 hullabaloo who knows if anyone will pay any more attention to 1.0. Worlds is going to be very interesting.

Threat from the North was integral in 3 of the Top 4 decks, and several more of the Top 32 for sure.

I'm not sure why people are more excited for a core set 2.0 tourney than the vibrant 1.0 cardpool. I don't want to sound condescending but I'm guessing that a lot of people who are frustrated with their 1.0 tournament results the last few seasons are ready to jump ship. Maybe I'm off base there.
I think nate could either prune the leaves a bit and just hit some top decks or he could really go wild. I think now's the time to blow things up, personally.

I think we might see a big shake up. Perhaps threat could go on the restricted list. Or even valar.
The safest beat would be that KOTHH loses its errata.

I'm excited because our game is going to grow by 400percent! You can get people into the game. People aren't happy because of bad results it's because it's going to grow so much bigger.

I can't agree enough. 1st Edition is in the best place ever (minus that dirty DC Pit.......) and is full of great cards and people. I can't wait for worlds!!

DC will always find the one of the best decks in any meta. Someone will always say "minus that dirty DC ___".

You're probably a little off base. And by a little I mean a lot. smh

i'm not interested because they will mostly do fan service rather than some interesting changes.
