To be honest the UI/UX is horrible again but it will works... for now better than agotgame.com
Edit: Take my words back about the working part - it does not save your decks...
403 - forbidden which is nice
Hi exoter, I'm always open to suggestions on ways to improve the UI.
Regarding the inability to save I haven't had anyone else with this problem yet. Can you let me know what browser/OS you are using, and if you are not using the Chrome browser if you could give it a try in it and let me know if it works there. Thanks.
Obviously the ability to save, submit decks (ideally just review everyone's visible decks like on other sites), edit submitted decks and post on submitted decks,
Doesn't the decks section and import handle most of this? Or am I not understanding what you are asking for?
However there are a few deckbuilding help features that may not be obvious. These are functions that exist in Conquest so I know you have incorporated them.
call the same pick legality subroutine
Regarding all the legality in decks stuff after some talks with FFG it was determined that the deckbuilding in GoT is going to be much more fluid and much more likely to break any or all of the established rules. Given this they had to choose between potentially modifying the code/rules for many of the releases or going with a more free form deckbuilding. In the end it was decided to go with more free form (at least initially) so that it works for every release with the least amount of effort. Right now the only things that are enforced are the per card limits and 2x 1 plot and 1x all the other plots. The loyalty rules are semi enforced but there is a toggle in the settings to turn them off. That isn't to say in the future there won't be more automated restrictions based on the cards you have chosen for your deck or legality checkers at submit time but for right now it isn't in there.
I'm not privy to any of the cards beyond the core set so I'm not even sure what is coming down the pipe regarding this.
> Sort your picks by "Cost within Type" so you can see your cost curve of characters then the curve of your locations etc
The character cost curve is in the graph at the bottom, wouldn't the graph be a better place for other cost curves?
I confess that I far prefer the modern Bauhaus minimalist style of NRDB to the medieval Rococo style here, when it comes to Thrones, the CGDB style feels appropriate.
If you prefer minimalist I do have a theme in the settings called 'flat' which should remove alot of the bling. Combined with the no center image layout and minimizing the card lists you should be able to get everything pretty compact. Ex:

I would urge you as a big fan to please fix the OCTGN exports in all the Deckbuilders as a priority.
I know this is an issue on many/all of the games. Given the nature of how OCTGN works it is a pain to keep things in sync. I don't actually work for FFG so beyond the occasional contract work I do, like making a new deck builder, everything else I do is on my own free time, and unfortunately I have had virtually none of that this year.
So I'm trying to find a workable solution. I might have something going in Conquest that could work but it will require someone to volunteer to take ownership of the octgn stuff and bug me around the time new releases happen to coordinate the stuff I would have to do. If anyone is willing to do this for Conquest (and/or possibly GoT2nd) send an email to drew.dallas [at] gmail.com If I can find someone willing to do that and it works for Conquest I could gradually expand it to all the other games when I get some time.
As always sparrowhawk thanks for the kind words and please keep the suggestions coming.
