A lot of times when playing with people in a friendly or in a tournament my opponent doesn't recognize the cards that I'm playing. They have never seen the card before. So I felt it was my duty to share with everyone the promo art cards that are out there in our game of Conquest. 

 

Lets discuss the art too!

 

My current favorite is Zarathur with Blood Angels as a close second.

 

Out of the Warlords, I feel like Nazdreg got the shaft.

Such beautiful art, such clean pictures, and excellent comparisons, putting the promos and originals side by side! Great topic, WarFather. Looking forward to upcoming, future promos! Though, I'm more of a playmat collector, myself, here's hoping for a Swarmlord alternate art card, someday!

Nice set of art.  I do think Nazdreg got shafted a bit.  Zarathur is cool, but a little busy for me.  Eldorath or one of the Chaos Units get my vote.  Overall I think all the alt arts are great improvements over their regular versions.

Eldorath, leman Russ, and all the chaos looks fantastic. Those are the ones I'd want. The others aren't bad at all

Lucky basterd! I agree that Zarathur is beautiful. The bloodied side and the splatters are awesome

Eldorath's bloodied side is fantastic, nicely referencing a piece of lore that I pointed out in the Chime of Eons articles and was disappointed wasn't referenced on the original card!

I got the alternative art Leman Russ at a store Champs I went to. Looking at the other cards it's barely different from the base version.

Oh well, it's mine and I love it.

We didn't have the game last year so I have no Blood Angels Veterans, Possessd, Vicious bloodletter.

And no Fire Warrior Elite, Zarathur,  Kais'Vre yet by FFG's delay.

Most of these were not and won't be available outside the stated tournament. In German only the Bloodletter will be available in small numbers...

I don't really like the Lemans Russ alt. Art. The others look good though. Hoping AM get's a good alternate art Straken.
