I would have hopped a dual house expension. Now one faction will received a major boost over the 7 others.
Not true. With the Banner agendas every house in the game gains new options with the upcoming Stark Expansion. Not to mention at least 20/60 of those cards are not Stark cards. Will you see more Stark? Yes, likely in 8 different flavors though...
I'd like to know what the card count will be for the box. it intrigues me.
Edit: Math is hard
22 is a stark card, 25 is a Baratheon card. There's 50/50 odds that 24 is Stark, or 24 is Bara (For uniformity I bet its probably Stark)
To the Rose banner is Card 38, and likely the last Tyrell card, so
24 Stark cards
14 non-Stark Cards
I can't imagine they'd give us winter tech without more winter plots (We have TWoW and ...Fear of Winter? Was that it? the bounce Plot)
I'd stake my guess at 45, with Neutrals and Plots.
Edit Edit: Product page lists it at a 4-packer - so there's at least 51 distinct cards? That's a lot of extra plots and Neutrals; I am not complaining.
EDIT EDIT EDIT: "An assortment of neutral cards, including six new neutral plots, change the options available to every deck, and you’ll be able to call on dangerous new allies like Mance Rayder, Quentyn Martell, and Aggo."

I think the fact that we'll see more Stark is tragic nevertheless.
Well im glad. Stark is the house that needed it the most. I wonder if FFG intentionally made Stark miss a bit more pieces of their theme so they wouldnt get out of hand with the first deluxe box.
Maybe Baratheon will be the last one since they seem to have a pretty cohesive theme already.

Stark is getting first box because they are "fan favorite". Also, I would not say they needed it the most Stark is already fairly strong. But I am excited for the box and so glad going with single faction per box best thing for the game long run.
I bet this is where we will get the Stark Jon Snow that will make Maester Luwin more enticing.
I'd put solid money that covered 5-coster is jon snow. White trim, black cloak, etc. Probably not Theon or Robb.

The deluxes for other LCGs are usually 55 cards, no?
FroSo is #24 (I think, hard to tell).
#25-38 is the 2 cards each of the other factions.
That leaves #39 to 55 for neutrals. 16 seems like a lot though, maybe it's 50 cards, so 11 neutrals, 6 being plots.
Seems supported by the description (including Jon but not Robb in it):
Throughout the box, you’ll find new versions of iconic characters like Eddard Stark, Catelyn Stark, Jon Snow, and Arya Stark, alongside characters entering the game for the first time, including The Blackfish, Shaggydog, and Rickon Stark.
I'm particularly intrigued by . . .
many Stark characters introduced in this expansion must be sacrificed for their effect,
. . .since I've been looking for more ways to trigger Robb's standing effect. Combined with As Hard as Winter, it looks like you'll be able to generate some pretty nifty stand/bounce tricks.
