"Daemon army units"

So no protection for Ku'Gath (obviously). Last week wednesday I played a few games against Nico and Dan (I think you met them that Saturday ^^ given that you won the nationals I did not a good job preparing them) and at least of of them played P'sM on a planet where only Gu'Kath was...and I didnt read the card so he could kill off everything from me since it was a green planet and I could not damage his daemon (Ku'Gath has that trait).

When I looked the card up I saw it only protected army units. So instead of leaving that out completely I wanted to point out a mistake I made so everyone else does not do so.

Would have been pretty bonkers if it could protect your WL. Against a weenie meta Ku'Gath would be the obvious choice for chaos then; Baarstool would get even more hate.

Edit: I sell my stuff and go back to first class, taking reading lessons. Card text says daemon units. So Ku'Gath is protected and the card is indeed bonkers. Cardgamedb's entry on the right of the card is wrong...but IMHO it should have been army units only.

Doesn't protect daemons from tokens, though. Worr just needs to adapt to include a few more units of cost 3+....Griffon happens to fit the bill, and also spawns tokens that are similarly unaffected.

Griffon is an obvious pick for Worr when worrying about the Prince's Might (and just a good pick for Worr, period). In Asklepios' deck the only options are Griffon, 2 Markis (of which only 1 can be on the board at any given time) and Troop Transport. I don't know wether that's enough in the current meta.

So my Worr actually ended up against Varun's Kugath piloted by ... Varun. I found that I had enough tricks to cause issues for his elites, even after a Backlash, but I didn't draw enough units. This was mostly down to bad luck since I consistently drew 1 unit every 3-4 cards for a few rounds given that 60% of my deck is units, meaning for every elite he was playing I was playing a single non-elite rather than several.

However, in my general experience against elite decks I've found that elites themselves are the best counter. I've added a Leman Russ into my deck along with some Scion Strike Forces and they've both done wonders for me. The latter especially works quite well with Ammo Depot, so it doesn't hugely impact the playstyle of the deck. Haven't made changes to fit in the Griffon just yet, but the Leman Russ is likely to be the first on the block for the chop since the Griffon just out performs it in Worr.

i never used promotion in worr decks, most of the time this is a dead card cause you never need deploy stalls and believe it or not, the command game can be done by your opponent slightly better - or it's already in your favor.

additional every card in a worr deck is always good. units can be played at any time, events are gamebreaking or shields, even supports are all playable.

worr lives of the fact, that literally no card in his deck is a dead card. even the unique markis is often included once.

recently i had some games against different elite decks (who didn't nowadays? ^^) and struggled hard with card drawing.

i tried a version without ammo depot, but it's unplayable.

swarm empties your hand in lightning speed and you need all the extra drawings, you can get your hands on.

last games ended all in losses, cause even if you win 2 planets, i wasn't able to handle the elite swarm with all the new mobility/teleport options. i also had sub-optimal draws (including mulligans), but this is nothing to complain about.

i would say, worr lost a little bit from his godlike mode, but is still a possible winner, which palpster showed.
