Varys' Riddle + Power Behind the Throne

As translated, you are correct that the copied effect is not self-referential and you don't have to put the token on the copy of your opponent's "Power Behind the Throne" being triggered. But you do have to put it on a card that is named "Power Behind the Throne."

You cannot put it on your own Varys' Riddle, for example, because self-referential or not, you are told to put it on "Power Behind the Throne," not "Varys' Riddle." Which means, of course, in a 2-person game, your opponent gets a second token and you are probably screwed by your own riddle.

Varys' Riddle

When revealed: Initiate the "when revealed" ability on a revealed non-Riddle plot as if you had just revealed it.

Power Behind the Throne

When Revealed: Place 1 stand token on Power Behind the Throne.
Action: Discard 1 stand token from Power Behind the Throne to choose and stand a character.
Self-Referential Text
When a card's ability text refers to its own title, it is referring to itself only, and not to other copies (by title) of the card.

If I reveal Varys' Riddle and copy my opponent's Power Behind the Throne, do I have to put another stand token on his plot?

In this case the text of the ability is not self-referential, and we have cards that reference other cards in play by title (Bastard Daughter, Dracarys, The Silver Steed).

You put a stand token on Power behind the throne.

I was pretty hasty while translating, the actual text of Varys riddle should read:

Trigger a "when revealed" ability of a non-Riddle revealed plot as if you've just revealed it.

Which means you trigger power behind the as if you revealed it but you have to place the stand token on it not on the Varys riddle.

But... let's assume I made a translation error (it happened this time), or worse, the italian translator made a mistake (it happened in the past sadly) and the original english text is different, what would happen? I believe it would be wiser to wait the original and complete english text before making question, don't you think? :P

The official text was correctly inferred from the Italian translation: When Revealed: Initiate the when revealed ability on a revealed non-Riddle plot card as if you had just revealed it.
