What is this about?

The next cycle for Conquest: 5 Packs.

Each pack features 1 Warlord and 15 cards.

The goal is to give a 4th warlord to each faction, balance the current meta to give each playstyle a chance and help the weakest warlords.

Who are you?

We are a team of passionate Conquest players. We are professionals (game designers, 12 years in the industry) and fans. We love the game. We want, like the whole community, to see Conquest alive!

What’s your plan?

The first cycle of 5 packs is already in advanced playtests. The second cycle of 9 packs is in preparation.

We plan on releasing a pack every month (plus possible specials).

Our pledge is exactly what we would like to hear as Conquest players: “We promise to provide a full cycle and far more, you can keep playing Conquest. It’s alive!”

What is the format?

The pack format is 54 cards. It may seem an awkward number, but it’s a standard deck size for your local printer (poker format). We provide a high quality pdf files, so you just need to forward it to your printer to get your pack.

What is your vision for the game?

We love the game and we respect the game (yes... even Imperial Power Fist’s wording).

We are not going to create new mechanics, keywords or anything. We just want to keep this formidable game on which we shared so nice moments alive. All cards will use known mechanics and respect the spirit of the game.

Why now?

We worry that players will lose interest in the game quickly after the Worlds. We want to save our community by ensuring the game remains alive each month with a new pack and other things to enjoy as usual.

See you on the battlefield!

Sorry Veetek for the double post :). It was our first post with this account and therefore the moderator had to validate it first. We posted it a few days ago. If a moderator want to delete this topic we can continue on the first one.

Just so you know, your "War Of Ideas" tab on your homepage has some spelling errors:

On the page:

Recommendations, Resources,

On factions:

Plural of Eldar is Eldar, not Eldars.

Plural of Tyranid is Tyranids, not Tyranides.

On a technical note, under "features" you've made it one drop down box for non-loyal, loyal, signature, unique and limited. This makes it impossible to specify, for example, a unique limited loyal card. Check boxes might make more sense.

----

Regarding the tricksy legal situation, I hope the rumours that your'e Brad and co aren't true, cos I don't want FFG getting into trouble here.

I'd be very aware that your website uses images from the game that are licensed by FFG at present and soon to be returned in full ownership to GW.

In particular, be wary of the fact that you are using GW owned artwork, and you are using GW registered trademarks.

So long as this remains non-profit, you may get away with this, but GW has historically been very aggressive with legal action. I don't want to see fellow fans fall foul to this, so either be careful in removing copyrighted material and in avoiding trademarks, or ensure that you retain anonymity.

Please be careful!

Hi She who thirsts-Devotee,

The files you can find on the blog now are at the highest quality we can provide.

We will make a video comparing the quality (manipulation, put into sleeves, etc.) of a FFG pack and a printerstudio pack as soon as we receive our first pack.

Looks like I had an old set of files that were saying low resolution. New files now, thanks for that!

It's a great news, even OCTGN has some of your cards and looking forward to add them there. I took a look at your packs and have a few questions, one of them is: why for Junk Chuck Commando you used Ghazkhull Thraka image?

:'(

It's... complicated.

Let's pretend it is a crazy mekboy that *wants* to look like Ghazkhull Traka and built a similar armor. And we promise it will never happen again. ^^
