New ways to motivate

Blue / Villain / Event / 1 Resource

 

Deal X damage to a non-blue character. Then, turn X non-blue dice in your pool to any side.

 

(It's plain fun to force choke your underlings. Non-blue limitation is very fluffy and leaves it useful for certain decks that play red or yellow with a slight blue splash as support. Maybe it should cost 2 if there wasn't that limitation, or maybe add an extra "spot a blue character", but that would severely nerf it in late game, making you keep alive a blue and a non-blue character)

Exhaust a support you control to gain resources equal to its cost.

 

(This card makes 2+ cost supports crazy good)

I'm full of surprises!

Yellow / Neutral / Event / 1 Resource

 

Resolve any of your focus dice as if they showed another symbol of your choice. All dice must resolve the same symbol and with the values printed on them.

 

(Extra versatility for focus heavy control decks. Yellow makes it harder to include in a deck and adds a nice asset to Padme/Jabba support characters)

You may play this card when an opponent plays an event. Cancel it's effects. Place the event on it's owner's deck.

Spot a Yellow Character.
You may play this card when an opponent play's an event. Cancel it's effects and it's owner gains resources equal to it's cost.

If at least one of your characters has been defeated, gain 5 resources.

Basically because right now, if you lose one of your characters first, you've lost the game 90% of the time. The game needs more "comeback" mechanisms.

Darth Maul's Lightsaber

 

Blue / Villain / Upgrade - Weapon / 4 Resources / Unique

 

2M/1 // 3M/1  // +2M // +3M // Sp // Blank

 

Blue Character only

 

Sp - Deal 2 unblockable damage to a character.

 

When the equipped character activates, you may pay 1 resource to roll a second "Darth Maul's Lightsaber" die into your pool.

Basically because right now, if you lose one of your characters first, you've lost the game 90% of the time. The game needs more "comeback" mechanisms.

 

If more cards like this made it into the game, maybe people would start spreading damage onto more characters instead of taking one out at a time?  I wonder if people would play Noble Sacrifice just to get a quick 5 resource boost at the beginning of a game?
