Featured Matches are recorded and commentated by community members and games feature a wide array of players and warlords. Today's Featured Match pits steinerp's Talyesin Fharenal deck vs. itsdrake's Kith deck in week 6 of the Black Crusade League. It is commentated by Ultramarine and slaanesh-devotee in a true continent spanning collaboration.

Fan-made Content Policy
Traxis Sector is designed to host fan-made content. Given the investment of my time involved in adding this content to the site and maintaining it, I need some form of policy that separates creative thought experiments and vanity projects from thoroughly vetted community card sets designed by dedicated teams. I also need to do this in a way that separates my biased opinion of card quality. Below is my proposed criteria that must be met for me to host content. Please offer feedback:
1. Design team must consist of at least 3 humans, each of which has equal authority for approving and vetoing card design. Please provide name, email address, cardgamedb name, OCTGN name, and one form of social media contact for each member. (for last 3 if able).
2. Playtesting team of at least 10 humans (this can include design team. Please provide name, email address, cardgamedb name, OCTGN name, and one form of social media contact for each member. (for last 3 if able). You must have a transparent policy for accepting new playtesters and assessing playtest feedback.
3. Must have at least 2 social media presences that is actively advertising for cards (these can include Facebook, Twitter, cardgamedb, reddit, boardgamegeek)
4. Must demonstrate at least 2 practices that show community involvement and engagement with cards. These may include: Online Tournament; Store Kit; Printable versions of cards that are not for profit; Cards Available on an online game system, such as OCTGN
5. You are responsible for answering any rules questions raised in this site regarding cards.
There will be other requirements that involve interaction with me but these will just be around communication of new cards, errata, new mechanics, image files, data, etc that doesn't impact eligibility for showing cards on site.
Thank you for your time in reviewing.

Data nerds rejoice.
traxissector.com now gives you the ability to record match results. This means that you can record wins, losses and ties for each of your decks on traxissector.com
How sucky is that jank deck you built? Well, we've all been telling you to move on but you've persisted in your quest to 'make it work'. Now, you can track how dismally that jank performs. Make your deck public and let all your friends know the brilliance of your deckbuilding skills. Or, more importantly, warn others of how poorly performing your sick creations really are!
However you want to use it, play tracking is now available within the deckbox section of traxissector.com. Just click on the calendar icon to get strated. Results are summarized by deck. View a deck publicly and you will see results for that deck by opponent warlord.
Never be fooled by dat deep jank again.

I have a suggestion: could you include some form of card-pool tracking? Like, being able to add in your profile how many of each card/sets do you have, and, after that, use that info gor deckbuilding.
You see, there is no playing groups near me so I ended up building multiple decks yo play conquest as a "closed boardgame". After that me and my friend started buying more cards to build more decks, but it becomes rrally tricky to know how many cards left do you have of any given card (like bloodangel veterans, trailtracers and ratling snipers, for instance), so having a deckbuilder that allowed you to build decks out of a given cardpool would be awesome.
I was thinking about making one on java or something like that, but seeing there are awesone db out there already feels like redundant.

Hello!
If I understand correctly, you are looking for something that does the following:
1. User enters the packs that they own, including multiples of a pack in the case that they have more than 1. The sum of each card quantity that comes within all packs makes up the users available card pool
2. As user saves decks, the card pool within the collection diminishes in size. This is then directly reflected within the cards available in the deckbuilder when building a new deck. Presumably the available warlords would also change within the New Deck page
If I got this right, I can see a design that would make this work. Other than functionality on the profile page that allows for entry of quantity of each pack and rules in the deckbuilder for assessing available cards in collection, I would also need to code rules in the New Deck page/Deckbox for dynamically restricting warlords and have some method in the deckbuilder that crosschecks an existing deck against the available pool when it is opened. I think also it would be good to give user the ability to define a 'collection space' and assign decks to it, so they could have other decks out there that weren't assessed under the collection restrictions (and would allow for the building of multiple collections). The difficult part would be coding all of this in a way that is intuitive to the user.
I think its an idea that I can build something for. At the current time I have a list of planned/essential functionality that I need to address and also performance improvements to code. I will add this to the list of requests on the beta page but can't say if or when I will get to it.

As an idea for the implementation thing, you could implement an option to build a "bundle of decks". Inside this bundle decks would share the same cardpool. This make it more user-friendly, as what this all actually means is "building a bunch of decks from the same pool", a bundle. At the same time, this allow for both building different bundles, so as you build you figure out which one you wanna use ("I built a bundle with a kith deck, but i wanba know if i could build a different one with urien"), and bundle sharing.
Also, you don't even need to restrict the builder as not showing up cards, but just showing, as extra information, the number of cards in your pool and the number of unused ones, and maybe color the text red whenever there are less than 0. In that way, I can build multiple decks by adding more cards that I own in the pool, and then refining those decks until I have them fit the cardpool.

Don't know if this had been mentioned, but a note of some kind would be nice, to know if your deck has been commented on or others have commented on the same thing
I agree and recognize that this is a missing component to site. I've been focusing on other areas but will think about perhaps a quick piece of functionality I can code to serve up some form of notification for the time being until i can do a proper notification system

I added a small enhancement to the website: FFG promo card images have been added to the applicable card pages.

HI,
Just checking to see if the site is still up. Doesn't seem to be loading today. 2/23/18.
Sorry just seeing this -
There was indeed significant slowness and delays on the site on Thursday and Friday (2/22-2/23) that was caused by a recurring procedure that was performing poorly and locking up some tables. I tuned the procedure Friday evening when i got home from work and the site has been back to normal since.
As a side note I will be implementing a large amount of enhancements in the areas of functionality, design and performance starting in about late March. These are currently being built out and monitored within the l5r bushibuilder.com site.

Great!
Is there anything we can do to help you getting all the latest Apoka cards in the builder? This is the only thing missing to make it what the community needs, it would be fantastic!

Yes! It would be great if Apoka cards were on an online deck builder, and traxissector is the only one left. Plus I like its functionality over cardgamedb, as well as Conquestdb (when it was still around). Their release schedule doesn't seem to be too hectic.

The game is still alive thanks to Apoka cards around. My point is that, Traxissector is about to die if it remains with FFG cards only and I guess ConquestDB understood it very early when it added Apoka ones.
Anyways, I guess Apoka needed to have a DB available since ConquestDb was out and that's probably why they recently release a Conquest Flikr DB card. So it's nice to be able to browse all cards but of course not possible to build a deck with this tool and I don't think they'll be able to do it. Traxissector seems the only way left for building deck with their and FFG cards. Hope to see a change at some point.
