Hi, new player here, first time posting and still very new to the game (I haven't played a card game seriously since college, 5 or so years ago, although I play miniatures regularly).

Anyway. I was hoping for some suggestions. I've only played a little bit, but I'm hoping to build a Baratheon Fealty control deck, probably built around Stannis and Robert, since I'm a huge Stannis fan, and I was wondering what sets you guys would recommend I get to get good Baratheon or Neutral cards that would help me out. Or, if you think going Fealty would be a bad idea, what House would you recommend as my Banner? I'm debating Martell, just for the extra control elements. Anyway, I currently own:

Core 2nd Edition (obviously)

Wolves of the North (still a huge Stark fan)

Road to Winterfell

Any suggestions on what to get next?

I wish this forum would be more lively, but well, if more competent people don´t respond, I shall try my best to help you out.

The Bara cards from the core are still their best, so you are well equipped (assuming you own 3x cores, of course). I recommend the chapter pack "For Family Honor", which contains Asshai Priestess - an incredibly useful tool for the kneel archetype. It was even deemed the best Bara card of the whole second cycle (see https://www.wardenso...-james-booker/)

Other than that, check out decklists on thronesdb.com for more popular card choices. Hope that I could help you.

Calm Over Westeros is another good choice because it gives you Stinking Drunk, which is another good card for Baratheon kneel.

But honestly, make sure you've got 3 core sets. That's your best bet. Access to 3x Melisandre, Robert and Stannis makes your deck so Mich stronger!

For Family Honor and Calm Over Westeros, got it. I knew I wanted Calm for Winterfell Crypt because I'm also working on a Direwolf Stark deck (because I am a weirdo) so that gels with my plans. I also might get Taking the Black for Lady, and because I think I could get some good use out of Robert's Warhammer (and Support of the People to go digging for Red Keep because...well because Red Keep).

Going over my options, I think that the Martell stuff might bloat my deck a bit too much since it's really just a small number of cards I want in there (the image of constantly bouncing Arianne in and out of my hand to get around Stannis' Stand restriction amuses me to no end, but probably isn't practical).

I do need to get another copy of the Core set, thanks for reminding me. My building is slow, since I don't know too many places to play around CT and a lot of my money is wrapped up in Warhammer and X-Wing right now, but I'm gonna keep at it. Thanks for all your help, I hope to be a regular here.

Tabletop Shop in Newington is your best bet. There are also some players in Danbury at the Gamer's Gambit CT. If you are close to Massachusetts, try around Boston.

Newington and Danbury both sound like they're worth trying. I'm actually much closer to NYC than I am to Boston (like, NYC is 50 minutes away, Boston is 3+ hours) so I'll also try there. Thanks for that link, I'll look around there.
