The term "gold bonus" on the card Knights of the Hollow Hill is not defined anywhere in the rule book. I assume that the intended effect is the same as the plot Rains of Autumn. Can you confirm the "gold bonus" only includes positive gold modifiers and not negative gold modifiers? Does "gold bonus" only count cards with the + gold modifier icon or does it include cards that says "increase gold value" like The Stone Drum and Winter Reserves? Does effects that increase the gold value on plots count as a gold modifier?

[Ruling] Gold bonus definition

Below is the response I received from FFG
The term “gold bonus†refers to any card with a positive value on the gold modifier icon. Cards that increase your gold value through text (such as Stone Drum or an opponent’s Gates of the Moon) still work if you have Knights of the Hollow Hill. Pleasure Barge will still reduce your gold value if you have Knights of the Hollow Hill.
