I am not trying to start any drama, but seems like from lack of activity on the forum that the game is in a very big lull, perhaps FFG support is on its way out?

POPULAR
I've not been tracking my local community closely since 2016, but I was receiving invites to local meet-ups in a major Canadian city until the recent pandemic/quarantine situation began. I can see there are a dozen games being played on https://theironthrone.net/. Not dead, but I think you're right to say there's a lull. It is and was an excellent game, but a lot of what drove its initial popularity was the general craze surrounding HBO's TV show. Now that it's ended (and ended controversially at best) and with no release date in sight for TWOW, I wouldn't expect a major surge in popularity. Once TWOW comes out, I expect FFG will sponsor another year or two of OP and put out another cycle of cards.
