Investigation is always a great icon to have. But the File Clerk lacks any others, and when in the core alone you compare her to Undercover Security who have willpower and combat in exchange for steadfast 2 and Heroic, she is easily sidelined.
Once you go beyond the core set, there are other characters who have better icons for the cost, or an ability and matching icons. The poor File Clerk, due to be filed away and forgotten about.
