When you play it it goes to the discard pile. One card of your deck becomes a domain, other card from your deck becomes a resource.

Is this card really worth it? I've been on the fence about it for awhile now. Feel like if you have cards like Journey to the Other Side (Core, 115) then it can reduce the risk of throwing away two good/useful cards but...whats the more experienced player's opinions on it?

Very deck dependent but in a mono-Syndicate deck, for example, with a lot of 'pay 1 to...' abilities, it can be very handy. Also has a deck-thinning effect as you lose 2 cards to create the new domain.

Depends on the deck.  If my deck has a lot of "pay 1" abilities then I will likely use it.  If it doesn't, then I would leave it out.

I'm assuming that the Domain card comes off the top of the draw deck (like the resource card does) as well. Is that correct?
Yes, as cited in the comments above.
