so...if I discard him and other characters from anywhere, I can trigger Response to put all of them into play, correct?
I don;t think discarding from your hand counts as discarding from play.
I mean discard other characters use like Unbound! and let him go discard pile, I can trigger response to put all of them into play.
Yes, that would work. He has to get there from play, but the others don't seem to be under any constraints on how they got there.
