Fringe playability. If your deck suffers against terror struggles, it's worth including even if Night isn't that much of a thing you're worried about. Blowing up Savio Corvi and Plague Stone is just gravy.

As an event card you pretty much get the benefits of wining some struggles with cards the opponent thought they had made crazy, and then limiting him long term, making it much better than most story attachments. Event speed day is also a big thing, being able to take out a Plague Stone after they play it but before they use it!

Blowing up a plague stone is huge, I hate that card and any protection from it is welcome. Surprise day can also enable/disable several other cards which can swing stories in your favour if timed correctly. The removing terror struggles is nice as is the fact that it doesn't destroy night cards once it's in play (in case you want to make it both day and night)
