Ghoulish Predator

Ghoulish Predator

Ghoulish Predator

Type: Character Faction: Shub-Niggurath
Cost: 2 Skill: 4 Icons: (T)(C)
Game Text:
Ghoul. Monster
Toughness +1.
Ghoulish Predator cannot commit to stories while it is Day.
Set: ItDoN
Number: 53
Illustrator: John Moriarty

For that cost and icons/skill, with toughness, I think its a light restriction that shub can play around without too much difficulty. Good card overall.

The "downside" of this card doesn't really show up much. Most of the power cards people play are Night, so Mr. Predator here will very often be able to commit.

I find day to be popular, especially given the new agency box, but each meta is different. A great character that can be played first turn and has the best icon pair. His weakness can be turned to your advantage, if your opponent renders him useless you can turn the tables with a speed night card to ambush your opponent.
As Arnold would say, "Come on. Do it. Do it now! I'm here! Kill me! Kill me, I'm here!"

If the Predator were a CoC card, he'd be 4-cost, 4 combat icons, 3 skill, Willpower, Fast, Toughness +1. Box would say "Action: Pay 1 to commit Predator to any story" and "Response: After a character is destroyed, pay 1 to attach that character face down to Predator. Predator gets +1 skill for each card attached to it."
