When Cats of Ulthar (Dreamlands F116)
come into play committed to a story have to be
put into play exhausted or readied?
Cats of Ulthar, and any card that comes
into play committed, or otherwise
commits to a story outside of the
commit characters window of the Story
Phase does so without having to exhaust
unless another effect forces it to do so.

Comment:
Note that its an action you can trigger at any point an Action can be triggered, for example after stories resolve :) they will wait for story to resolve.
They are "put into play (already) committed" so cards like Black Dog (WoP) cannot respond to them committing.
Zoog hate, in case everyone uses them. This is pretty much a worse version of Black Dog, though you do get to keep it in play. Nonetheless I can't see it making decks except in a Zoog heavy meta. Please tell me no such thing exists.

The designers must have decided that zoogs were so powerful that they added not one, but two, anti zoog cards in this pack. Ignoring the zoog ability it's a black dog with skill that stays in play and can fit into any faction. Sure it's expensive for what it does but anyone who has used black dog knows the value of ambush.

Love this card, but I'm biased considering my profile picture. Still think its worth 3/5 because of the ambush and the clearification mentioned by Zephyr regarded "committed". Combined with 'false papers' it also becomes quite decent removal, since you then can make every character become a Zoog, including ancient ones.

And with Marcus Jamburg, you could potentially create a quasi-endless Cats of Ulthar Zoog destruction loop.  Way too bouncy for competitive play, but could be fun.
