Danigral - 2 out of 5. It’s certainly a better value than .45s. I can think of some cool applications, like slapping it on a monster in Shub to have a super blocker to stall the game. Or perhaps one that pops it into play with Flooded Vault. And really, in my opinion, it takes away a lot of the theme and flavor of it.

mnBroncos - 1 out of 5. Won’t see play except in the most combat heavy of decks for the added struggle. Bleh card at this point in the card pool. Can’t believe you have to pay for it too.

Obtuse- 2 out of 5. I’m bored. This card bores me. Slap this on your Bureaucrat and hope your opponent falls asleep.

livingend - 2 out of 5. Shoot! This card is nigh epitommycal filler material. Bland design? Check. Dubious power level? Check. Attachment? Check. Neutral? Check. Verdict: It won’t get much more mediocre than this.

WWDrakey & Ire - 2 out of 5. ‘Tis a gun, it shoots people. A pretty mundane thing, one would think. Still, when you need shootin’, it’s not bad, as far as shooty-things go.

I think Danigral hit the nail on the head here.  Tommy Gun is a pretty unexciting card, but it surprisingly fills a niche in the game.  That is, giving Shub easier access to combat boosters.  Shub is already good at winning combat struggles, but it doesn't have many ways to really leverage that strength.  While Tommy Gun isn't a good thematic fit, in game terms it pairs well with Shub's big uglies.  And the more I think about it, who wouldn't love the visual of a Twilight Cannibal hosing its prey with a Tommy Gun?
