Difficult to use with monster factions, because you opponent could wound one of your characters with a terror icon
Question: Does the trait "Relic Hunter" work with his ability as well or is it purely "Hunter"?
Hunter and Relic Hunter are two different traits.
Question: does this card trigger it's own ability?
Yes, cards can respond to themselves entering play.
If Hunters would have become an actually fleshed out subtype, this card might have been neat(er) against Mythos decks. Transiency *can* prove problematic for resourcing, but if you can leverage it (into something that reduces other costs for instant), I really like the stray transient card here and there in my deck. Sadly, there aren't many to choose from.
