Played yesterday against this card and my opponent had the chance to play his whole playset. Since it isn't a unique card, can there be three copies of Terrors in the Dark on one player's side (and does its effect stack)?
Yes, on both accounts. Note however that the card needs to be played, so triggering something like a Black Dog or Master of Myths from hand does not count for it.
